Arthramid® Vet is proven highly effective in treating non-infectious causes of joint lameness in horses, including both early and late stages of osteoarthritis (OA). After introduction to the joint, the gel becomes fully integrated into the synovium and joint capsule by a combination of cell migration and vessel ingrowth forming a thick, cushion-like membrane that increases the elasticity and tensile strength of the joint, reducing the pain and inflammation of synovitis and restoring long-lasting joint function.
